Who hasn't been waiting the last year for this movie trailer to be released? The second I heard the words Cher, movie, and Burlesque my brain began to malfunction, because that was just too much to compute.
Further mind bending is the close affiliation the movie has to that hair cutting master Jonathan Antin (of Bravo's Blow Out fame and known for, well... only delivering hair that has never looked more bangin'). The director, Steven Antin, is his brother and don't forget about their sister Robin Antin who created the Pussycat Dolls. Now that is a trifecta! How can this movie fail?
One critique for this movie, that will hopefully be a little bit of a train wreck (glory only comes from the depths of the purely awful), is obvious; more Tucci less Aguilera. That is all.
(On a side note about Stanley Tucci-he might be creating the movie of my dreams.)
