How is it physically possible that all of my favorite people were crammed together in a singing and dancing masterpiece straight out of my dreams? And all set to Bruce Springsteen (or The Boss as I like to call him)! Thank you Emmy awards 2010 for making this piece of footage possible.
Several things to learn from this; air guitar will always be played on Jon Hamm's leg, Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey continue to be a a genius duo, all choreography shall be instructed by Betty White, Hurley will no longer perform on islands (just escalators), and the act of the laying piles of hate on Jimmy Fallon shall cease.
I never understood all the hate towards Mr. Fallon, who, with Conan off the air, has one of the most creative and entertaining late night shows today. One of his greatest talents has always been, as exemplified on SNL, his hilarious and accurate impersonations of musicians. This was greatly featured throughout the entire Emmy telecast, and was wonderfully successful.
Even though I was mildly, okay at times VERY off, on the winners, it was still one of the most entertaining awards shows in a long while. I mean how often do you get to see Dr. Kevorkian, the essence of party, as a guest at an awards show? Definitely an Emmys that will go down in history for bizarre scenes like that one, but more for the high laughs.
