The Academy Awards are one week away, and aside from the predictions of who will/should win, and those few still throwing tantrums over who should be nominated, there is something else critical happening, so drop everything - Handsome Man Night is almost here.
Handsome Man Night, you ask?
There is as much fun to be had gabbing over the gorgeous gowns and hideous dresses as booing and cheering for the award winners, but on the other side of things, it's also not too shabby to spy a bunch of dreamy men in tuxedos.
Sure, every year there is some dishy men walking down the red carpet in a nice black and white number, after all Colin Firth has been present the last several years, but this year be prepared to be overloaded with handsomeness.
After coming across the above picture from this years Nominees Luncheon, I'm convinced that never before has an entire category of nominees been so easy on the eyes. Last year gave a shining example, but try looking back farther through history...
This might just be my new crush on Jean Dujardin's smile taking over (or just how much I love saying his name), but I feel like I'm just stating the obvious when I throw out there that Pitt, Clooney, Bichir, Dujardin, and even Gary Oldman, simply look really good standing by each other.
If the Academy knew anything about women they would have made an exception for a 6th nominee, so Mr. Gosling could step in. This photo definitely needs Gosling channeling some of that quiet brooding from Drive.
The winner for Best Actor is not a guarantee, but can any of these men really go home as losers? I think not.
Only next week when the winner is offically selected will we know which attractive (and lets not forget, talented) man remains standing. As if it wasn't already blatantly obvious, I'm thinking Dujardin has it in the bag.
Who do you think will win?
it's got to be Dujardin! can't wait!
